Description

Laparotomy Sponge also referred as Lap sponge or X-Ray Detectable Abdominal Pad is an absorbent pad made from 100% surgical grade woven fabric widely used during surgical procedures, principally while operating around the abdominal region to control blood & oozing. It can also be used in preventing blood flow by applying pressure on the bleeding wound.

Lap Sponge assists medical team to perform abdominal surgical procedures with ease & better visibility as it keeps the surgical sites free from the body fluids resulting in quality surgery. It comes with an X-ray detectable line which helps in preventing obliteration during the surgical stitching when closing a wound. It comes lint free which ensures there are no loose threads.

Each & Every piece which is manufactured in our factory is thoroughly checked & inspected before dispatching under our QMS process, hence making it reliable & widely accepted among medical professionals

Available in EO Sterile, Gamma Sterile, Unsterile.

We also manufacture Lap sponge according to the custom specification such as double x-ray, bundle rolled or folded. Contact us for more information.
