Instruction for Use (IFU)

  • Check the packing carefully; if it is damaged, torn, or pierced, discard the piece.
  • Wash your hands before making the connection.
  • Wear gloves before opening the sterile pack.
  • Hang the collection bag horizontally using the hanger strap provided.
  • Remove the inlet cap and connect it to the urethral catheter.
  • For sampling, use the sampling port provided on the tapered connector.
  • Check the urine volume periodically, drain it into the collection bag, and record the urine output in the nursing notes.
  • Drain the measured urine volume into the collection bag.
  • Drain out the urine using the bottom outlet of the urine collection bag.
