• Remove the product from the packaging.
• Connect tubing to mask.
• Connect distal end of tubing to oxygen source.
• Set oxygen source to prescribed flow rate, ensuring connections are secure and oxygen is flowing through the device.
• Place the mask over the patients nose and mouth with the elastic strap below the ears and around the neck.
• Secure by gently pulling the ends of the elastic strap.
• Adjust the nose clip on the nose portion of mask, mould it to fit the face. This precludes leakage of oxygen into the corners of the eyes.
