Instruction for Use (IFU)

  • Tear open the pouch and take out the infusion set.
  • Close the clamp and keep the flow regulator with the air-vent cap in the closed position.
  • Remove the spike protector cap and insert the piercing spike into the infusion container; flush the infusion set with normal saline solution.
  • Keep the 0.2-micron filter in a vertical position while flushing.
  • Gently squeeze the drip chamber until it is approximately one-third full.
  • Open the upper clamp and flow regulator to start the infusion. Close the flow regulator and attach the infusion set to the I.V. device.
  • Open the flow regulator to regulate the flow.
  • Close the air-vent cap and clamp if you need to stop the infusion for a certain duration.
  • Do not use the set for more than 24 hours.
