Closed Wound Drainage System is a sterile, E/O-sterilized device designed to efficiently remove fluids under negative pressure following surgical procedures. By preventing the buildup of blood or exudates at the wound site, it helps reduce the risk of infection and supports faster, safer healing. The system includes a kink-resistant connecting tube for consistent suction and multiperforated catheters with smooth eyelets to ensure gentle, effective drainage. Instruction for Use (IFU)

  • Place the perforated tube inside the wound with the help of a curved needle. Ensure that the entire perforated part of the catheter is well within the wound to avoid any air leakage during drainage.
  • The length of the perforation should be reduced according to the size of the wound. The catheter is marked at 5 cm from the last perforation to ascertain the depth of the catheter inside the wound.
  • Connect the perforated catheter with the connecting tube.
  • For use of two catheters simultaneously, remove the protector cap provided on the Y-connector and connect the spare perforated catheter with the Y-connector.
  • Press the bellow container with both hands.
  • Connect the connecting tube (duly clamped) to the bellow container.
  • Start drainage by releasing the clamp.
